Historic buildings clearly were not built with modern fire safety measures in mind. I offer comprehensive and realistic fire risk assessments and work with you on appropriate measures to address risks. I know, for instance, that insensitively positioned fire exit signs can damage both fabric and appearance. A modern fire door does not have to be installed in a Tudor building – there are always options.  I explore other ways to minimise risks while providing safety for visitors and residents – and protecting all aspects of the building.
